Buying

If you are a gas buyer, Agora Gas can develop a gas supply package for you which balances the blend of firm and spot gas supply and can seamlessly manage your gas portfolio from day-to-day. These arrangements have been designed to meet your need to balance supply security and “take or pay” and “gas price” risk.

Selling

If you are a gas seller, Agora Gas can help you to sell quantities of gas which would otherwise be difficult to market. Agora gas can also place larger quantities of gas into spot or firm contracts.

gasTrading Spot Market™

Giving you the benefits of Spot Market™ trading

gasTrading has created a spot market in which buyers and sellers can trade gas surpluses and shortfalls. Agora Gas, working with its sister company gasTrading, can deliver the benefits of the gasTrading Spot Market™ to you.

If you are a gas buyer, having Agora Gas procure part of your supply from the gasTrading Spot Market™, allows you to match your daily gas purchase commitments with your daily gas requirement.

If you are a gas seller, Agora Gas can use the gasTrading Spot Market™, to match the quantity of gas you have available on a day to your sales.

How does it work?

Retail Gas Supply Service

Agora Gas, working with its sister companies, Agora Retail and gasTrading, can supply firm and spot gas to retail customers in the South-West.

We make it easy for you by having a single contract with Agora Retail to deliver gas to your premises. Agora Retail then uses Agora Gas and gasTrading to manage upstream supply arrangements. The Agora Retail agreement is very flexible and can be tailored to suit your needs.

Market Discretion

Agora Gas enables both gas sellers and buyers to trade in the gasTrading Spot Market™ without disclosing identity.
